Five Mix Ups

I am thoroughly convinced now that Abigail is a visual learner. She has been producing some mighty fine art these days and she gives us some other clues too- mainly in her lack of attention or lack of importance she gives words. HOWEVER, Daddy is reading Abigail The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and she has grown into doing a great job listening and enjoying being read to from a book without pictures (for the most part). Anyway, here are a few examples of words she continually mixes up, despite us correcting her every time!  I don't mind, I'm sure she'll get it when she needs too :).

1. dinner and lunch
2. him and her/ he and she
3. hunting and hiking
4. anything and nothing
5. week/day/month/year/morning/evening ("Last day" could mean yesterday, this morning or last year)

Names also aren't high on her priority list. So don't worry if she forgets yours- she remembers your face! (it's not her fault, she gets it from her mama).

Well, this isn't C.S. Lewis, but this is what they look like if Abigail is sitting still. Jake dressed her that day. Nah, just kidding, she dressed herself. By the way- after three weeks, Jake's pain has almost totally left! Praise the Lord!
